Selecting the Perfect
Music for Your Wedding Videography
Selecting the perfect
music to use in your wedding videography really depends on your personal
tastes. Think about what kind of atmosphere you want to create in your
videography, or if there is a specific theme you are trying to convey. Do you
want a playful video, or a serious tribute to your love? Also, consider
blending different songs.
If you have footage of
your relatives and friends arriving to the wedding, perhaps a soft background
song would be suitable.
“The first dance” footage
demands your personal music. This would be the perfect time to have music that
is significant to the couple playing in the background. Consider having
special music for footage of the father and groom, and/or the groom and his
mother as they dance. You can also use the bride/groom special song for the
closing dance, or use different music that is also significant to you both.

These are popular
suggestions, but you should ultimately choose music that is special to you.
Put as much consideration into the music for your videography as you did during
the rest of your wedding planning. Ultimately, a videography is a photo album
put to music, so make sure each music selection is special to you.
